Thy Kingdom Come

Mark 4:11-12

11 And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable,

12 In order that they may [indeed] look and look but not see and perceive, and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend,

With all the emphasis over the last year and a half been on the election of a president here in the USA, I have had the Holy Spirit speaking to me of the big picture, that of the Kingdom of God.  The future of religious liberty in  America is very important of course, but the bigger picture is that God has a plan that is playing out in front of those that are looking for his blest appearing. In the verses of Mark Jesus is showing to his disciples that by parables he would speak to his followers, the message of the Kingdom will not be received by the secular world, but rather it will fight against the Kingdom he said in John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. NKJV This text is showing we can expect the secular society to question what the church is about,  John 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. NKJV

Be encouraged that the plan of God will be fulfilled “Thy Kingdom coe they will be done on  earth as it is in Heaven”
