Start with the application packet, and begin a relationship with the APEPT fellowship.

Prepare your application

The 2026 packet includes your personal application, doctrinal questions, and two minister’s recommendation forms. Read the instructions and requirements before completing it.

  1. Get to know APEPT

    Review our vision and Tenets of Faith. Contact us with questions about fellowship or credentialing.

  2. Complete your paperwork

    Prepare the personal application, Christian service résumé, doctrinal responses, and a 2-by-2-inch photograph.

  3. Arrange two recommendations

    One recommendation must come from the pastor of the local church you currently attend and where you are in good standing. Follow the packet’s instructions for confidential recommendations.

  4. Submit for review

    Allow 4–6 weeks for the approval process. The packet states that the credentialing fee is payable after acceptance and before credentials are issued.

Ordination requirement

The application requires two years of licensing and a proven ministry for ordination. It also recommends a year of correspondence study for applicants without prior training or ministerial experience, or who are not currently active in ministry.
